Potlucks Galore

I need a recipe book for potlucks. I'm slated for FOUR potlucks this month alone, five if you count Thanksgiving being so close to Dec. I can't keep making the same dishes.

Any recommendations? Do you usually make a big batch of things that can be scooped up (like salads) or things that can be picked up one by one (like shrimp)?

  1. Okay, guilty pleasure is Rachel Ray's cookbooks...and she has one called "2 4 6 8" that makes dishes to serve 2,4,6, or 8 people. All of them are super yummy and take less than thirty minutes to make.

    Go get 'em, girl!

  2. I have done a Snowy Mashed Potato that was a big hit...lots of cream, cheesey goodness. AND the other hit was bacon wrapped breadsticks. I used turkey bacon so it would not shrink.

  3. I love potlucks! I think that things like salads are better, because it will feed more people.

  4. Spaghetti, meatballs, chili, lasagne, and casseroles are always simple to make and a sure bet that people will like them.
